This ballad begins with an ethereal sound, posing the wish to remain in a blissful dream world regardless of the reality of the situation. It delicately meanders through many keys and textures, including the entrance of tenor and alto soloists, until the song builds to a dramatic finish accompanied by the full band. The chart can be sung a cappella throughout, accompanied throughout, or you can choose to begin a cappella and bring the band in at the final climax (m.35) for maximum effect. The SATB voicing is a challenging score, designed for more advanced groups, and the SAB voicing is adapted to be more accessible for younger groups (with a single soloist instead of two).
