Find Your Grail

This song, taken from the 2005 Best Musical "Spamalot", has been modified from its original overdramatic nature to become a more sincere message of perseverance toward achieving a goal. It begins with a mystical sound, featuring a soprano soloist, and a breathier tonal quality. Halfway through the song, the style becomes gospel, and the energy is uplifted with a more focused choral tone and a new lead soloist. In contrast to the farcical, cheesy performance of the Broadway show, this new setting is confident and inspiring. The lyrics are universal -- you can even program this number at a graduation ceremony or senior send-off!

If you trust in your soul
Keep your eyes on the goal
Then the prize you won't fail
That's your grail

So be strong
Keep right on
To the end of your song
Do not fail
Find your grail
Find your grail

Life is really up to you
You must choose what to pursue
Set your mind on what to find
And there's nothing you can't do

So keep right to the end
You'll find your goal my friend
You won't fail
Find your grail
Find your grail

When your life
Seems to drift
When we all need a lift
Tell yourself you won't fail
You're gonna find your grail

Life is up to you
Now it's time to choose what to pursue
Set your mind on what you're going to find, oh yeah
And there's nothing you can't do
Now it's up to you

So keep right to the end
You'll find your goal my friend
You won't fail
Find your grail
You're gonna find your grail
