The Illusion of Dreams

Explore the realm of the subconscious mind, a land containing an illusion of reality that can range from a blissful paradise to a frightening world of horror. This dramatic show starts with us trapped in a lonely life, longing for escape (Illusion of Life). Escape is achieved by surrendering to the land of dreams (Beautiful Delirium). The land of dreams is explored and seems to be a wonderful place (Welcome to Mystery). But the dream turns to a nightmare (Dies Irae) and we beg for rescue (Dream With Open Eyes). Musical genres featured in the show include a powerful rock opener, a dramatic power ballad, a mysterious waltz, a classical/heavy metal hybrid, and a pop-rock closer. There are a number of vocal solo features throughout the show, and electric guitar is featured throughout the show as well.
