Catastrophe
This SATB, SAB, or SSA show outlines the dramatic arc of a catastrophic event of any type. The night begins with a big party (Raise the Roof) which gets interrupted by the catastrophic event (Get Out Alive). In the thick of the chaos, everyone's life is in danger (Quicksand) and in their despair they cry out for help (Rescue). After being saved, the work of rebuilding starts and a new life begins (Our Time is Now) and everyone celebrates how they overcame the odds and survived (I Got Out). Musical genres featured in the show include a salsa opener, an edgy rock change-of-pace, a heartfelt pop ballad, a techno-dance setup song, and a gospel closer. It's the perfect template for any dramatic situation!
