The Rollercoaster of Love

As any teenager will tell you, the drama of young love is just like a rollercoaster--with soaring highs and dismal lows. This show leads the audience through the cycle of a relationship: how it progresses from the excitement of new love, to obsessing addictive love, to inevitable breakup--as well as the fear, vulnerability, and rewards involved in going through the process again. Musical genres featured in the show include a pop opener, a Broadway-style production number, a pop change of pace, a romantic orchestral ballad, and a dance-pop closer. There are a number of vocal solo features throughout the show, and instrumental features include synth, guitar, and drums.
